Switzerland: Lengnau

Farms and Flowers

The town of Lengnau. in the Jura Mountains of. northern Switzerland is called “Watchtown” because it hosts the Breitling and Rado brands. Most of the region is still devoted to farming.

Verdant fields

These fields are grazed by cows. Instead of branding cattle in open fields, Swiss farmers use cowbells of different sizes to identify their cows. In the frequent highland fogs, each size of cowbells makes a different sound.
