Switzerland: Jura Mountains
Watches On the Rhine
The Jura Mountains, a range of ancient rounded hills, dominate the northern Swiss countryside.. Much older than the Alps to the south, the Jura Range first appeared in the age of dinosaurs. Rocks of this age everywhere else in the world are called Jurassic.
The towns of the Jura, like Le Locle and Lengnau, are centers of Switzerland’s iconic watchmaking industry.
