A foggy morning

This town of just over 8,000 population is located on Revillagigedo Island, at the souther end of the Alaska Panhandle.

In Ketchikan

Ketchikan was the first incorporated city in Alaska in 1900. The town is surrounded by lowland forests on adjacent islands, fed by plentiful rainfall.

We head north through the quiet waters of the Inside Passage.
